Colossal Waffle Ltd has been a waffle icon in the Top of the South Island since 2007.


It began as an old Northern French family waffle recipe before 11 years of refinement in the heat of commercial production at markets, festivals and of course golden sand holiday beaches.

What it has become is a very simple, effective, teachable system for the production of traditional light, crispy, slightly chewey French-style waffles.

Based around our unique two part mix, chefs and food workers can be trained to add a precise amount of water to the part A and part B mixes, ensuring a perfect base from which to craft perfect waffles.

We can assist further with consulting and staff training and with the sourcing of rotary waffle irons which are crucial to correct French waffles.
